PRESIDENT Michael Sata yesterday arrived from Kampala, Uganda where he went to attend the International Conference of the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR).
The Presidential Challenger plane carrying the president touched down at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at exactly 18:05 in the midst of a heavy down pour.
Mr Sata who was in a jovial mood and accompanied by First Lady Christine Kaseba, took time to greet senior Government officials, led by Finance Minister Alexander Chikwanda.
Others who received the president were Information, Broadcasting and Tourism Minister, Given Lubinda, Secretary to the Cabinet, Joshua Kanganja and service chiefs.
