Why is black a cause for alarm?

Why is it that everytime a black person walks into a non-black environment, people form negative opinions without even getting to know the person. That's absolutely ludicrous, but it happens. Any thoughts as to what could have created this stigma?

I don't think that the impression you have is true. Well at least not for the majority of people. All I can say is that if someone "whatever colour they are" walks into an environment that is dominantly of a "different coloured people" then I believe it is quite natural to look. But this does not necessarily mean people form bad opinions about that "other coloured" individual. It does not matter what colour you are but there will always the ignorant people that cannot accept, tolerate and respect someone else (for whatever reasons). This has nothing primarily to do with colour. Obviously it is bad when something like this happens but it might also happen the other way around. People these days are generally very reserved and have a hostile attitude so maybe you are just misreading their real intentions.
